I have always wanted to fly a camera on a model airplane, either still or video. I never tried it with a still camera, and only recenty (relative to my age, that is) has video technology gotten small enough and cheap enough for me to finally give it a try. I put a CVS one-time-use video camera on top of my son's trainer. Of course, the holder and camera made for a huge air brake (see photos below), but it flew OK and I got a fairly decent video, all things considered. Next time, I'll point the camera downward a bit more, and try a flight with the camera pointing rearward.
