At the time, the SIG Kadet trainer was supplied as a rudder-only plane, i.e. no ailerons. Today, most, if not all, trainers are equipped with aileron control. After a few flights, I added ailerons to the wings. However, since the plane wasn't designed with ailerons in mind, they didn't really work all that well. They would bank the plane, but response was slow and not very effective.
