I have had the pleasure of trading e-mails with George Miller for a number of years now, after he came across my build log of his A-10 Thunderbolt II. I was copied on the progress reports he sent to his friends regarding new airplane projects. One day I realized that I had quite a collection of photos. They have been posted here with his permission.

F-4 Phantom II. One of George's favorite planes to model. This latest design uses an electric ducted fan.

Miss Champion. After the F-4, this is George's favorite airplane, so he has modeled it a number of times. This is his latest version.

Katonka. This design features counter-rotating propellers.

Tona Wico. This plane features a canard design.

F2G Corsair.

Ares R/C (a.k.a. Ares R/C II, a.k.a. Mocha). This plane has had three lives so far!

OV-10 Bronco. Highly modified version of the Hobby Hangar kit.

Tirawa. This is a redesign of the Tona Wico.

P-51B. Modified version of the TopFlight kit.

Roto-Finish. Model of highly modified racing P-51D.

B-17 "Barbie Bombshell." Beautifully refinished ARF.

In addition to, and while in the process of, designing most of the planes he builds, George does a lot of aircraft artwork. This section is a collection of that artwork.

F-14 Tomcat. This started out as a short kit with nothing but fuselage formers and wing ribs. Even plans were not included. This is now a scratch-build project with George doing the design as well as construction.

F-14 Tomcat No. 2. In this second F-14 build, George is completely reworking a Freewing F-14 foam ARF kit.

F/A-45N Angel Shark. George came across a graphic drawing of the fictional F/A-45N Angel Shark and decided to design and build a radio controlled version from scratch.

FJ-1 Fury. The FJ-1 Fury was essentially a P-51 powered by a jet engine..
