I wanted to build a frame for the canopy, but wasn't sure how to go about it. I paid a visit to the scratch building forum on RC Universe and learned of a method to make an outside frame. I really wanted to make a frame for the inside, but this method sounded interesting, so I gave it a try. Ultimately, the frame will be made of three layers of fiberglass cloth. First, you cover the canopy itself with wax--I used paste auto wax. See the next photo for progress.
